Temps. dropping pretty quickly now along with the wind chills...expecting lows to generally range from -5 to +5, there will be colder spots per normal, wind chills at times -10° to -20°, although the wind will come down some late tonight and by tomorrow it should be pretty light. Cold on Sat. with daytime temps. climbing into the mid to upper 10s with some increase in high clouds. Not as cold Sat. night with a freshening south wind and increasing clouds, temp. will likely climb out of the teens and into the 20s by Sun AM then continue to warm to 35°-40° Sun afternoon. Later Sun into Mon AM remains a difficult forecast call as we may be on the western fringe of a narrow low pressure system as it tracks up over New England. Its uncertain if well be in the precip. shield, but we might. And if we are, especially for the Hudson valley and W. New England, wed get a bit of rain from the mid to late PM or eve. Sun which would switch to snow later Sun night in Mon AM with some potential for at least some snow accumulation. Dont know yet, however, so stay tuned through the weekend.
