Ten dollar acoustic demo. - sikaudio (to hear the better tone hit the *gear* button and select 720p) a regular customer recently came into my workshop with a $10 garage sale guitar. this old beast was dirty and messed up. -broken neck with split fretboard (fretboard stank like 1980s cat food). -saddle broken in half. -nut worn and slots too low. -frets all dinted and worn. -neck twist and pick guard half peeled off. at first i said - this is going to cost a little too much and may not be worth repairing. she insisted i do the job! so i did. spent a couple hours on it. fret levelling and crowning. new nut. new saddle. glue/clamp the neck-fretboard. mega clean up and fresh white oil on the fretboard (with a little mix of lavender furniture wax mix to fade out that cat food smell) new set of strings. $80 later…its come up alright. the tones not too bad (minus the sloppy finger picking) got a neglected guitar . . . feel free to contact me and ill give it some long lost loven!! nath@sikaudio https://youtube/watch?v=Hgg6hxp2TlM
