Ten years ago, today, I climbed out of a van at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. A tall man in a funny hat started yelling at me and, just like that, I became a soldier. The rest of the story has been like running down a steep hill. I am not sure where the time has gone. These ten years have shaped me dramatically. I have met amazing and wonderful people, experienced great and awful events, and I have gotten a small glimpse of my own future. Fallujah, West Point, Commissioning, and most importanlty, my marriage to Jessica Sepp, all hold their roots in this day, ten years ago. I can only look forward with greater excitement to the next ten years.
