Terese Davis 7 seconds ago To whom it may concern, I will be having a fundraiser on April 5 th 2014 in Wolf County,at the High School or at the Hazel Green Fire Department.I am asking for any donations possible to help with the fundraiser.The fundraiser is to help get Medical Supplies and a Seizure Alert Dog for my 21 year old son.He was Diagnosed with a brain tumor after having seizures.Because of the tumor Charles has the mind of a 8-10 year old child.He also has symptoms similar to Bipolar disease,ADD,and ADHD. After Surgery to remove a portion of the tumor,Charles continues to have severe Grandmal Seizures. This is because some of the tumor had to be left in. We are thankful it is not Cancerous,but still left with the worry of losing him related to Seizures.In the last couple months he has had a VNS System Surgically Implated in his chest to help stop the seizures. He has been on Life Support at West Liberty then flew him out to UK hospital,and remains on very high dosses of medication.We are needing some Medical Equipment to moniter his condition,and his medical card will not cover the cost. I have been in contact with a Seizure Alert Dog Company that believes this dog can really help Charles. This dog and training is very expensive,so again this is why we are asking for any donations possible for the fundraiser.
