Terilynn Woods Erin, its been on CNN & on HLN... Those are the only 2 major cable networks Ive seen this story on, but there are probably others. Thanks to social media, I heard of this story back in early March, and many pages on FB have shared his story. So his death was not unnoticed. I care a great deal about this story, largely because of all the holes in the story concerning the events surrounding Kendricks death. The school has been silent about the matter, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been silent, and the funeral home hasnt released a statement. I felt mostly for the parents that lost their son way too soon in this tragic way.. And then, to find out his organs were missing...if the family hadnt asked for a second autopsy, they wouldve never known that someone had removed his organs, smh. But one of the entities that had access to Kendricks remains after his death (either the Georgia Bureau of Investigation that performed the first autopsy in January, or the funeral home that prepared his body for the viewing and memorial) failed this young man and his family in a big way. I have two sons of my own, and I could NOT imagine losing a child this way, and its been made worse by the fact that the family have not been given any answers that will give his family the peace that will sustain & comfort them. Losing a child thru death is bad enough. I say everything who involved here in any way (the GBI, the funeral home, and yes, even the school personnel) should all be terminated..
