If the people of Kenya elected their leaders through popular vote and their leaders invaded another country and they dont protest to stop them, this means what the leaders did reflected the opinion of their citizens. How can you call such people innocent? I think the innocent people are the Al-shabab whose country was invaded by Kenyan troop. In UK, the British Prime Minister wanted to go to war in Syria, but was pushed back by the protest of the UK citizens because they know the consequence. I believe it is time we civilians begin to engage our elected leaders into some power contest if really in democracy the power belong to the people. We have to stop them if they do something that will affect our security. Even Bokoharam crisis is a problem brought upon us by the government. We are the one dying not them.
