Terrorists in Syria Behead Civilian for Abandoning Prayers Local Editor Armed insurgents in Syria have cut off the head of a Syrian citizen under the pretext that he does not perform his daily prayers, Al-Alam website reported Thursday. The released video footage of this hideous crime showed the Syrian citizen on his knees while one of the armed elements of the al-Qaeda linked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) recited the supposed allegations against him, accusing the man of “abandoning his prayers, being drunk and committing robbery.” After reciting the alleged charges against the Syrian civilian, another ISIL terrorist grabbed and pulled the victim’s hair from behind and begins to cut his neck by a large dagger.
