Testament of Shadows Book 1: Lotan is the chthonic dragon of Chaos in the pre-monotheistic Levant usually divided into Drac the night sky and stars and Tiamat the sea and Earth. As should be clear Drac can also be seen as air and fire while Tiamat is water and earth; these are the base elements of life. The 18 powers that Lotan is divided into birthed four tribes one for each of the four base elements. The same aspects of Lotan can also be divided into 26 and thus to 13 revealing the gates of the stars to which the families and lineages of the tribes are linked. Lotan is great serpent that was known and honored long before the biblical Helel was linked to the serpent and the titles Lucifer and Satan were assumed to belong to Helel. Lotan is the serpent or dragon primeval of which all others such as Set are but shadows. Lucifer is a Latin form of “light-bearer” given to the Greek form of Yogsoboth Prometheus or Apollo.
