Textbook knowledge leaves wisdom behind. By contrast, the Native Americans spoke of a Great Spirit that guided their actions and helped them understand and see what their eyes and minds could not reveal. They considered the Great Spirit to be the Father of their souls to whom they would return at the time of physical death. For them, the Earth was their real mother since all the nourishment they received came from her. They naturally obeyed the laws of the Father and the laws of the Mother without a need for other man-made laws. They did not require books to teach them about physics, biology, chemistry, or health. These ancient civilizations received their first-class education directly from their Father and their Mother. ~ Andreas Moritz
