Thank God for Unanswered Prayers by Michael Patrick Murphys psychic forecaster Sometimes we think we want it so badly, we could die. We wish the universe would just hand it to us, as though wed earned the right somehow. As a friend says to me, Sometimes its the bling that grabs our attention, the noise that steals the moment. In this world, the rough risk more to get what they want. Why? Because the really rough have nothing left to lose. They gamble and are dangerous. Often obsessed with Midass gold, they are sometimes willing to die for it. So you think you would do ANYTHING to have something—a feeling, a sensation, a dream, a fantasy or even a thing. Then after the prayer seems answered, sometimes, wed do anything to have it all back the way it was before. The genie from the bottle grants you three wishes? What would they be? Just remember, the genies a tricky little fella. What would you give or give up for that situation you want? Would you give your life tomorrow if you could have that something today? No. I guess you didnt want it that badly. Did you earn your prayer. Looking back on your life, how far did you go for other people? Did you even walk a mile? What gives you the right to have what you want? Maybe its time to take a moment and be thankful for what the universe has already given you—for the opportunities that were never good enough. I like to think that destinations are nice. But it really is the road that makes the difference. Its the synchronic relationship between our minds, our bodies and our spirits. Its our honor and dignity that defies the forces trying to tear us down as we seek to understand, know and feel our universe. Sometimes, we truly must thank the Gods that they didnt answer our prayers. All the tools we need are within us. We do indeed reap what we sow. The problem is that we dont always understand what we are doing or what we did—or we only think we understand. How many people have destroyed good things over a misunderstanding or a miscalculated assumption or belief. Overriding all of our thoughts and feelings is the spirit within. It nourishes us when we do good things, when we let those around us feel the fresh free air. We do our best. We accept the consequences. Only with our spirits sweet breath can we become the quiet grace. James David Carter version https://youtube/watch?v=keewBDlR4ZE
