Thank God my sister is in remission. The chemo has done its job on the active cancer cells. Now the next phase is to destroy the sleeping cells that could be in the stem cells. She goes back in the hospital next Friday and Gabriel comes back to our house. I miss my sister and would love to be there for her, but watching Gabriel is the most important thing I can do right now. If I have seemed like Im not myself, its because my mind has been consumed with all of this and Im just taking it day by day and praying for her continued healing and progress. There is so much I would love to do to raise awareness about leukemia/lymphoma,or raise money...but right now..I just need to be a supportive and loving sister, a mom to my girls, a wife, and the best aunt I can be to Gabriel. Thank you for all your sweet messages and prayers.
