Thank goodness the weekend is over!!! First, my air conditioning system is out again!! Two weeks ago we closed my pool for the season! Yesterday all the water was gone when I got up and the cover had fallen in! Next my Comcast cable went out once again. After staying on the phone for 7 hours they told me they could not fix it! That was after either hanging up on me or disconnecting me 9 times! I told them to cancel my account and disconnect me and I would take my business elsewhere. They said they were sorry but they could not cancel my service!!! But they might be able to send a service man in 7-10 days!!! Not acceptable! But they were nice enough to give me a $1.50 credit!!! Good bye, Comcast, you have lost my business after nearly 15 years!!! Angie came over and disconnected the cable and put me back on the antenna but all I could get was WKNO-Channel 10!! It has been an interesting day---so far I have learned to paint a woodland scene, bake a German dessert I cannot pronounce, knit a sweater, crochet a scarf, tour Italy and southern France, learn how to make flower arrangement (imagine that!), watch Antique Roadshow and learn how to find an old violin in a dumpster that ends up being worth $50,000.00!!! Wonder what tomorrow will bring???????????
