Thank you HIMYM for 9 incredible seasons filled with wit, wonder, warmth and whimsy. Thank you for creatively keeping us guessing and for respecting your audience as well as your writers (and your craft). Thank you for daring to teach us that life doesnt always turn out how we think it will or wish it to be. Thank you for being there for me almost every Monday night of my 20s, from my first (legal) drink to (nearly) my 30th birthday--from the pilot ushering in my senior year all the way to watching the finale in a home I own. Thank you for being unapologetically romantic yet refreshingly honest, for life is too short for anything less. Thank you for that cast of brilliant artists whom I would love to buy a bourbon always. Thank you for being legen--wait for it--dary. Quite legendary.
