Thank you Jesus for so many new things we have seen in Caleb just in the last 24 hours: I was cooking supper tonight with him in the standing frame playing with one hand and eating a cheese puff in the other (not the best food choice I know but he ate broccoli and fish for supper )... Anyways, each time he would get down to where he had eaten it down to his fist and needed help pushing it up for more, he would say help me. I would tell him open his hand and would do that while I helped him push up the cheese puff. We had to do this about 3 times for each cheese puff and for about 4 cheese puffs altogether. This was the first time he consistently and appropriately asked for help and I was soooooo happy to help! Then of course you may have seen the video I posted earlier tonight where he is helping to sit up and then prop sitting for the longest he ever has unassisted. His eye coordination and head control is amazing!! We tried something new with a big roll to where he was on his knees for about 15-20 minutes, leaning over the bolster/roll, and using his hands out in front of him and actually pushing through both hands. When we would place a toy out in front, he pressed through his legs as if he were about to crawl towards toy and then pushed up with both hands and upper chest and maintained this for a long long time and then bent knees when we asked him to when it was time to rest. I know so much of this may be hard to really visualize but take my word for it........This is BIG STUFF... Actually little Miracles from God !! He is talking more and more, paying more attention to every single thing you ask him to do, and on and on! I know I am leaving things out but we are so very thankful to witness all of the continuous progress!! Have a blessed night !
