Thank you Maya Badham for nominating me to do my Top 10 Favourite Albums tag. This is incredibly difficult for me personally because music has always been such a big part of my life and my Dad has been educating me since I could speak. The only way I can rationalise this in my mind is by picking albums that are all-round great albums, rather than selected songs off individual albums, even though realistically I could easily do a top 10 for every genre. But anyway here goes! In no particular order...(because that really would make me cry!) 1. American Idiot (2004) - Green Day 2. Bat Out of Hell (1977) - Meat Loaf 3. Fallen (2003) - Evanescence 4. The Blues Brothers Soundtrack (1978) - John Belushi & Dan Akroyd and Co. 5. Surfacing (1997) - Sarah McLachlan 6. Now That I Found You (1995) - Alison Krauss 7. Guilty (1980) - Barbra Streisand 8. Money For Nothing (1988) - Dire Straits 9. Gone From Danger (1997) - Joan Baez 10. Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970) - Simon & Garfunkel Even now Im still doubting if Ive got it right, its so difficult. I now nominate Gary Barrett, Lawrence Ogden, Lesley Lewis, Ben Harvey, Ollie Matthews and Matthew Douglas Macintyre hope its easier for you! x
