Thank you all for all of the Alumni Photos! It is like a Christmas present to see all of our fur-kids in amazing loving homes. Can you believe that all of these animals were on DEATH ROW!!!! Unbelievable right?!?! Every single day pets in our back yards and around the Country are being euthanized. Most try to close a blind eye so they wont have to view the suffering and one of the ugly aspects of what our communities are responsible for. Pet over population, Puppy mills, neglect and cruelty are just all to common not to stand up and just say That is not right. We just simply shouldnt be doing this. We are more evolved than this. A simple thought can change everything. If everyone had a simple thought change on what each of us are responsible to do. We are all responsible for ourselves and we are responsible for community standards. Each adopter, volunteer, donor, supporter, cross poster, transporter, coordinator and advocate have had that thought and we have a united purpose. We can make a change and we all, together will make a change. That change is to improve standards on animal welfare and rescue the beings that are a result of low standards. In the last three months we have made a true impact on a very high intake shelter here in our community. Horry County receives a truly astonishing number of animals through their doors. In 3 months All 4 Paws rescued over 700 pets that were set to be euthanized. Most for space as to many were pouring in the door or because they had medical issues. We did that by working together. We created a flow of coordination from adoption to cross posters, sister rescues, transports, fosters, and vetting process. A group of us went to Horry County and delivered toys, bedding, treats, played with the animals and yes of course came back with new fur-kids. We had also coordinated 2 Labradors and a litter of puppies to go to our sister rescues. The staff at HCACC was so up beat and the Director was glowing. Their positivity really showed us how much a thought can really change an entire community. The empty kennels just made my day. Its proof hard work really pays off and how one positive thought can make a group come together and make the change. Thank You to the amazing people that have made this happen!
