Thank you all for for your prayers, support and the cards. I havent opened any yet but am looking forward to as I get better. So, seven weeks in the hospital is a humbling and often scary place to be. The culprit was an unusually case of Acute Pancreatitis. Fortunately, I was sitting with one of my surgeons when it ruptured (the six inch long cyst on top of the pancreas). This allowed pancreatic enzymes to pour into every nook and cranny. After a few operations and many weeks, Ill be going to another hospital for about two weeks of rehab. I still have what is called a wound-vac be cause they could not get the incision to close, due to swelling. Its been a long road but Im alive and thats all I asked for. Thanks again to all of you.
