Thank you all so much for all of your support and well wishes over the past week. Apologies for not keeping you updated on what was an emotional roller coaster. Talking about the highs and lows of our great sport, the constant decisions to make. I COULD WRITE A WHOLE BOOK ON THAT. As you can all guess I am more than over the moon with Gorgeous (Billy Beware) I am somewhere in another galaxy! To have a young horse like him correctly answer so many questions at one of the toughest Badmintons we have seen for many years is a true privilege. He is very special Please dont disregard my beloved Red who was giving me probably one of the best rides I have ever had until he lost his balance on what was a very awkward turn, causing him to catch a leg on the high part of the tree trunk. Possibly slight jockey error? The boys will have a well earned rest. For me , though a little bit sore its onto this week with horses at Aston on Thurs and four at Chatsworth. Finally a huge well done to Sam Griffiths and his team on a great victory and to Harry Meade on his great come back. Pipx
