Thank you all so much for your amazing submissions of people you know who are survivors. Please, please be patient with me while I respond to them. (I have 100+ stories in my inbox and the stories are still rolling in!) To answer a few FAQs and possibly cut down on emails... Yes, the Survivor shoots are 100% free. This is a project close to my heart, and something I want to do as a service to the community and to the survivor and their families. Im shooting in the Leitchfield, KY and Brandenburg, KY areas. I will be in Meade county next Monday-Wednesday to photograph survivors in that area. Im not sure how long the project will last. I feel its something Ill always have a heart for, but my wedding season starts this Saturday, so posts may slow down after that. Yes, Im still doing family sessions during this project. Since Im still a full time photographer, my small business is still my means of helping to support my family. If you need family photos/engagement/maternity/newborn, Im up for it. (Sessions start at $60 for those interested.) If these photos have touched you, and you need family portraits done soon, I would love to meet you and tell your story through your family photos! :-) Yes, you may share/tag/invite as many people as you wish to this page. I encourage you to do that! The post reach depends on you, the viewer and how engaged you are with the page. This project has spread like wildfire, and I thank you all so much for making that happen!
