Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. We are so fortunate because this also could have been much worse. The LG tech was sharing some real horror stories regarding LG french door models with the freezer on the bottom. Make sure to keep an eye on your model if you had purchased one in the past few years. Thankfully, he was able to fix the defect with a new housing unit/temp control, etc. We also had good news pertaining to the house fire, since they almost finished cleaning, they will start painting and replacing everything (furniture, carpeting, etc.) on Monday. Lots of work packing up though...feel as if we are moving without actually moving. Now the fun starts in selecting colors for the floors, walls, and additional pieces. I love decorating...but I need some serious advise since it is basically the entire house and with my brain not functioning....I am very hesitant about making good decisions. Oh....yes and if anyone know someone who designs, sews, and installs custom drapery please let us know. The last lady we utilized was phenomenal, but she has relocated.
