Thank you everyone, so much. I feel like I have put a lot of my trials and tribulations on FB in 2014, which was not my intention (in fact, I dislike doing that at all). However, the overwhelming support from all of you after the sudden death of my father and with this big episode with Sam, have made me so appreciative of this type of connectivity with my friends and community. We truly appreciate the support and care. We are home and Sam is resting comfortably. He is on low stimulation- so little talking, movement, noise, etc (ugh, the siren check was today). But as the head neurologist said, His brain has been through a big storm, like a hurricane. He needs a break from new chemicals flooding his brain right now. He needs rest. After the near catastrophe with the new drug, I totally agree. As we know, with every 2 hour wake ups in the hospital, that isnt possible, so we asked if we could come home and the neurologist said yes. He is on bed rest and we will go back to the neurologist in one week. We will also seek further advice with more specialists. Thanks again for all the kindnesses to Sam and to our family!
