Thank you for accepting my request. :) I dont have chickens myself, but I really hope to rescue someday, and I want all the knowledge I can get from people with the experience and compassion. (Plus I just LOVE looking at all of the adorable pictures of your sweet feathered family members). I also grew up with a chicken friend named Henny Penny. I was pretty young, definitely not a vegan yet, and our cat decided to kidnap a chicken from somewhere in the neighborhood (Im guessing a backyard flock) and brought her to us unharmed. We kept her for the rest of her life, a happier ending than she would have had originally. :) I have no doubt she helped me on my journey towards awakening. One last thing, I had a question Im not sure how to ask. I completely understand if you cant/wont answer over Facebook. It looks like many of you have rescued hens from obviously deplorable places. How were you able to rescue your chickens from these horrifying situations? (Please do not answer this if it could possibly put you in legal hot water) Thank you!!
