Thank you for all the love, messages, phone calls and texts wishing me a beautiful day. Much more than a day about myself, today is an important day to reflect on how blessed I am to have so many incredible, dynamic, and inspiring people around who make my life interesting, worth living, and provide meaning at every given turn. We have all had an incredible year filled with triumphs, challenges, some heartache, and as a result a lot of picking ourselves up, dusting off, and carrying on stronger than before thanks to each other. So today I offer my gratitude and admiration for just a few of the amazing events -- Tracy and Dallas had Luke whos stolen my heart (and Kaileys!), Norris and Danielle got engaged, Kristina and Ramon moved in together, Nick moved and joined Kara in LA while adding to their furry little family, Schooby Doo is wrapping up med school and moved in with Brittany, Sean and Michelle became Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds (and Greyson got cuter), Coopers bravery blew me away, Carla, Bret, Ash, Kyle, Hojoon, Brittany, and Jennifer all got awesome new jobs where they are valued they way they should be, Cathy finished her CD, Justin followed his heart and took a huge leap that brought him back to teaching -- exactly where and what he always should be doing, Shelley took the board position with the incredible Exceptional Childrens Foundation, the Charity and Paul got engaged, David and Rose moved, got pregnant, AND had Kai (way to show everyone up guys), Katie graduated high school, Johanna came back to LA (and is never allowed to leave again), and Malcolm got stuck with Justin and I as parents. To everyone at Dogtown who has made it feel like home and given me the greatest extended family ever, to all the family and friends who have provided so much love, laughter and insight, I truly cannot wait to see how everyone grows and changes in another year. Love you guys
