Thank you friends and family for your kind birthday wishes yesterday, it really did make my day all that more special. For those that dont know in our family we have a tradition of calling each other and singing for birthdays however the objective is to be the MOST off key for which of course I am always a contender. This years renditions by Mary Stuart, Rachel Schrider & Joseph Schrider were heartwarming and sentimental favorites but songs from Susie Stuart Masin, Sara Stuart Rector, Daniel Rector, Betsy Stuart Chaney & Ronald Hitchens Chaney reminded me of what my music teacher Mrs. Reynolds had to endure when I was in choir. Imagining anything worse or more out of tune would appear impossible however Lizzie Thomas, Jake Allen & granddaughter Joey Thomas managed to mangle the song in such a backwards manner it was only equaled by the squealing sensations produced by grandson & granddaughters Rowan, Lilly & Baby Bella Schrider. In all it becomes most difficult to make a selection but in deference to the current politically correct climate of our times Ive decided to declare EVERYONE a winner just for participating and they will all receive a trophy, a ribbon, cash prizes and an automobile and thus prevent the irreversible mental, physical & spiritual damage which could be caused had it become necessary to declare anyone actually lost. I love you all and thank you!
