Thank you so much to those who voted for me for my local boroughs community awards. I have been selected as a winner! I am writing to let you know that you have been nominated by a peer/colleague/resident in the borough for Richmond Council’s Community Awards. The community recognition scheme aims to recognise individuals who have brought credit to the borough, given outstanding service to the community, improved the quality of life for local people or benefited the community through community involvement or volunteering. Last week, senior councillors, went through the 160 nominations that were submitted in the first quarter and have selected 47 to be recognised. We would like to congratulate you on being selected. As such, we would like to invite you, plus a guest of your choosing, to a celebratory event of afternoon tea, where you will be presented with your commemorative badge and certificate by Lord True, Leader of Richmond Council.
