Thank you to Supt. Piwowar for putting forth a plan to invest in full-day kindergarten for all Billerica students. It will provide every student with a strong foundation for future learning and enhance our entire school system. We join more than two thirds of the communities in the Commonwealth who provide full-day kindergarten to all families at no charge. Full-day kindergarten provides a number of long-term benefits that go beyond the classroom including: better health and a reduced likelihood of being involved with the criminal justice system.
