Thank you to all my friends on face book for all thier good wishes,I have had a lovely day can not believe im 65 But old age does not come on its own. On one of the cards which i had in 1948 petrol was 2s 1p gallon that would be today 2. 5p Litre....Average wage for full time work men £6 14 ...that would be today £6.70.....for women £3 13 today £3.65...Bread and shoe rationing ended. With all we have today we are still short in a lot homes .But I thank the Lord that I have been very Blest......
