Thank you to all who have been praying for me and my surgery. It went well. The doctor said that it was much more difficult of a surgery than he expected. The herniated disk had fragments that actually adhered to the spinal nerve and spinal bone and he had to spend a long time in there removing the fragments. I actually have a lot more numbness in my leg and foot than I did before surgery and I am hoping this is just because the nerve was stunned from all the activity. Praying that the numbness will diminish with time and not be a permanent thing. I am taking my pain meds around the clock and it seems to keep everything at bay. Very sore and lots of swelling in my back, of course. I appreciate all your prayers and thoughts. Its hard for me to focus and reply to each one just because Im not all there yet -haha.. But I didnt want another day to go by without giving you an update. I was hoping to go for a jog Friday... Im just hoping to decrease my meds by Friday at this point! Thanks again guys!!
