Thank you to everyone who has surrounded our parents with love and prayer regarding my dads cancer treatment. Overall, he has done well during his time at Duke. The last few weeks of treatment can often be the most difficult. Please be in prayer with us about these concerns: 1. The doctor is concerned about his inability to retain enough fluid. They will be giving him fluid intravenously over the next two days. 2. As of today, his blood count was too low. Be praying that his body can withstand the next rounds of treatment. He only has one more round of chemo and eight days of radiation left. The doctors gave him the option of temporarily stopping treatment but he really wants to finish so he can be home for Thanksgiving. Love to you all and again, thank you so much for the kindness youve shown our family during this time.
