Thank you to everyone who signed my petition at IBMC tonight! While the petition was circulating, I was asked a particular question multiple times. The question was this: Is the park going to be breed specific? The answer to this is NO. I feel very strongly that every breed of dog has well behaved examples and the not so well behaved animals. The rule here would be this: If your dog is sociable, behaved and can co-exist with other breeds than they should not be discriminated against. Every well behaved dog has the right to enjoy the facility. On the flip side to this, I do plan to have classes and training sessions that allow for the "misfits" to be involved with the facility and one day enjoy play freely with the other dogs.
