Thankful for another great evening worship with our colleagues of Grace in The Park. It is good to be together in community and faith in all times - especially in times of distress. After worship we learned the search for Damian and Evan McManus has been called off. The rescue teams did all they could, but it is believed there is no way the father and son could have survived at this point. A post from the family page said, Katherine and Lauren are comforted in this time of great loss by all of you and by their faith in God. Please continue to pray for strength of spirit and surround them with love. Indeed. Lord, have mercy. May the promise of resurrection this Easter bring profound hope to those in deep grief.
