Thankful that overall we are responding well to the oncoming Typhoon but I am also wondering when it is possible that we learn to provide permanent and disaster-resilient housing in relatively-safe areas for ALL Filipinos. I hope to see one day that nobody has to go through what many of our brothers and sisters in evacuation centers are going through at this very moment. Having said this, still thankful for the preparations we are all doing despite our limited resources. May there be no more corruption in the Philippines so that the much needed resources are truly given to our people...SO BE IT!
