Thankfulness, gratitude, appreciation....T H A N K S G I V I N G.... Paul reminded me that, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him........overflowing with gratitude and always give thanks to God for everything and so today I am going to consciously consider my attitude and instead of being discouraged by my difficulties, I m going to focus on the Lords blessings and instead of complaining or grumbling because I didnt get my way, Im going to believe that God is good and trust Him to do whats best and confidently afffirm that Hes working this circumstance out for good. On October 18 I went to a clinic and completed the paperwork for Affordable Healthcare (obamacare). They said I was not signed up but had to go online and choose from a list of options. One week later I get a letter from DSHS cancelling my childrens insurance effective Oct. 31 (this letter was dated Oct. 18). My children were insured through DSHS until Feb. 2014 yet, I havent even signed up for the program and they have cancelled my childrens insurance. This is not a coincidence. DSHS said we were sucked in and this is ridiculous during our conversation and reinstated 2 of my 3 kids until Feb. 2014. What about the 3rd child you ask, well, DSHS says, according to their computer, he is insured through Affordable healthcare eff. Nov. 1 (even tho I didnt sign up). My recommendation for those who have DSHS insurance right now is to not sign up for Affordable Healthcare until you are near your expiration date with them, there is nothing they can to to reinstate you so you might as well stay insured as long as you can. But, once your current Health Benefits with DSHS expires they will not renew (thats how it is for my children). Affordable Healthcare will be your only choice. I am choosing thankfulness in spite of these circumstances because otherwise, who am I? God has given us bountiful provisions and He will continue to do so. He is the Source of every good thing and I will trust in Him and remain hopeful......
