Thanks, Bob. Hayes should be judge Editor: Sixteen years ago, I met Roy C. Joe Hayes at a tire store in Charlevoix. We have remained good friends since. Joe Hayes is a smart successful attorney who is respected throughout our community by the people that know him and have worked with him throughout the course of his 20-year career. I support Joe Hayes to be our next circuit court judge. He is a solid no controversy guy who will follow the law and be fair to the people whom appear before him in court. He has run a clean, positive campaign on the merits of his experience and accomplishments. His opponent has been running a negative campaign attempting to defame the reputation and character of Joe Hayes through false and misleading advertising. She has a previous history of malicious, destructive behavior, as shown by court records from 2004-2005 where she served our court as prosecutor, was voted out of office and sued by former employees for hostile work environment. A Charlevoix County jury awarded two of her former employees more than $1 million for the damage inflicted upon them by Mary Beth Kur. I fear for the safety and sanctity of our county if Ms. Kur is elected as circuit court judge. Please join me in voting for Roy C. Joe Hayes on Nov. 4, as our next Charlevoix County circuit court judge. He is a true asset to our community as we will be best served by having him on the bench. Robert C. Grove Boyne City
