Thanks everyone for your prayers and kind words. I just flew in from China and I got to Akron an hour ago. I was lucky enough for the last half of my life to have a really good friend and confidant that I called Dad. He was always there for work and life advice or just to sit and have a beer and tell fart jokes. I was also lucky enough to have spent some quality time with him over the last 10 years but I realize now that, that time will never be enough. My dad the long haired rebel had a full family with four kids before he was 25 and he never complained that everything he made went to giving us kids what we needed. Not to mention he was the coolest dad a guy could ever ask for. I wish I could have had one last long conversation with him to tell him how good of a job he did and how much I loved him for everything and how I wish we had more time together and how I wanted him to see my kids someday so grandpa could tell them stories about being in a band and what real Rock-N-roll was. I wish I could have that one last conversation. hopefully he can take off his headphones in heaven turn down the doobie brothers and listen because I intend to tell him just not the way I had hoped to face to face. I love you DAD more than some facebook rant can say....I LOVE YOU
