Thanks for adding me :). I have been searching for my bio father on and off for a few years now. I dont have much information on him, except his name is Richard Rees, spelling may differ although my (now) mum says rees is correct to her knowledge. Richard and my birth mother were together in Queensland prior to my birth in 1988, around the Townsville/cairns areas ( or any of the coastal North qld towns) as he worked on fishing trawlers. I have followed up a lead from a captain of a boat with same name, (Google listing) but unfortunately it wasnt him, although he said he worked with a younger man back in the 80s with the same name. My mothers name was Marianne Maby, she had a twin sister Judith (judy) Maby. I was born in Penrith Nepean hospital in 1988, according to family members, Richard had seen me a few months after I was born and left back to Queensland as my mother wanted to stay in nsw to be with her terminally ill sister. I have tried many avenues to find my biological father, including a facebook page, messaging people with the same name or last name and even a few calls from the phone book, which proved to be emotionally hard so I stopped that method.
