Thanks for all the well wishes on my endeavor to the Sands casino. The day started out horrible! The bus driver went the wrong way and we lost 20 minutes. When we arrived at the casino, I applied for a slot players card. I took off my prescription glasses and put on readers that I carry with me. I left my good glasses on the counter. I went to the mens room and realized I still had my cheapo readers on. I ran back to the desk but the good glasses were gone. I checked with lost & found but to no avail. They told me to check before I left but they still didnt have them :( Time for new glasses. On the bright side, I Had a good meal and a couple beers. I bought $200 to lose and only lost about $30 after playing the slots all afternoon. 2 friends that Id not seen in more than 15 years live close to the casino and stopped by to see me. So Im out a pair of glasses. They can be replaced. All the money in the world cant replace the memories that I had with all my friends today :)
