Thanks for all your greetings on my birthday. Here is a little story...after three decades, I got a toy I had loved and lost. I was perhaps 8 during a family holiday to the southern tip of Indian peninsula, where I was mesmerised by a kaleidoscope, which I had safely wrapped and carried for 700 kms until I reached home. While getting off the vehicle, I forgot to collect the goodies bag from the boot only to realise later neither my sis nor I remembered to collect our new toys from the trip. We both were perhaps fast asleep in the early hours of the day. I was devastated and could never get over the trauma of loosing a kaleidoscope as I hadnt even used it and was desperate to return home just to play with it. I was very chuffed when Thomas gifted me this amazing piece of craft for my birthday, a copper kaleidoscope. There is no better feeling than regaining ones childhood. I now feel ready to grow up all over again.
