Thanks for the add :) I dont own any full Drafts (yet, perhaps someday!) but I do have a lovely Fjord cross colt. I know crossing Fjords is uncommon and frowned upon by the registry but I adore my boy! I did not breed him myself, I saw a posting for his brother and called, his brother (nearly identical) was sold but he had been born the previous day. Went to look at him at 5 days old and fell in love. His sire was a spotted ASB and his dam is a purebred Fjord. Cinnamon Chai is the smartest colt I have ever worked with, very easy going and uncomplicated. He currently strings to mature around 15.3hh and the vet is certain he will be at least 15hh. He got the wild type brown dun from his Fjord mom and the tobiano from his sire. Makes for a beautiful combo! Here are some pics. The first is him with Mom at 5 days old and then 3 from when he was 14 months old (this past August). The 4th one shows his face since the other two recent ones he is wearing a fly mask). The last pic is his sire Aces High Mischief I found his pic on a website but I didnt save the link. I plan to have Chai gelded this month or perhaps the very beginning of next month depending upon what the vet thinks now. In case anyone is curious, his breeder has since acquired a lovely Fjord stallion and is breeding pure at this point. He owns two Fjord mares which are mother and daughter, he crossed them twice with Chais sire, so Chai has a full sister and two brothers which are same father and out of his mothers daughter, so I guess that makes them 3/4 siblings.
