Thanks passport photo regulations for contriving to make this THE worst passport I have EVER had. Even worse (and I didnt think this was possible) than the last one in which I looked like a 1970s kidnap victim of some liberation organisation complete with semi-startled expression, as if the world outside the tiny photo booth were just too much after the years in captivity. - And why is it so vital that you see my ears? Theyre not the go to feature for recognising a face, FACE ON. O sorry, I thought you were someone else with the same ears but a COMPLETELY different face. You ruined my day yesterday, and the next 10 years of using my passport for anything. - And why, when the photo booth takes approved passport photos, which are identical, why do I need FIVE of them? - The WORST bit though - no one has ever, EVER looked at me funny or paused for longer than a cursory glance at the photo. Even when I had short red hair and no glasses.
