Thanks so much to the 27 citizens who braved the cold last - TopicsExpress

Thanks so much to the 27 citizens who braved the cold last Thursday morning to have coffee with me and let me know whats on their minds. I heard a lot of good comments with suggestions and ideas on things that could be improved on in Grapevine and what things were doing right! Open forums are a great way to hear from our citizens and keep me grounded as a member of the City Council. It was a busy weekend in Grapevine with the Womens Division Holiday Charity Event at Austin Patio Ranch on Friday night and the Grand Opening of our new Historical Museum in downtown on Saturday morning! Over 200 guests came to support the Women Divisions key projects: school supplies for kids and Christmas for Seniors. Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets and auction items. Your money will be well spent! If you did not attend the Grand Opening of the new Historical Museum, please make a point of visiting it soon! The address is 206 W. Hudgins St. right behind the CVB building in the Grapevine Ice House facade. It is a treasure trove of antiques and special items that reflect Grapevines unique history and culture. Be sure to check the City website to find out information about all the upcoming holiday events in town. The Christmas Capital of Texas has so much to see and do in the coming weeks for kids of all ages!! Enjoy!!
