Thanks to MetalSucks.net we found out today that; Dr. Matt Taylor, the dude who put a probe on the comet, is a Cannibal Corpse fan! Unless you’ve been living under a space rock for the past couple of days, you’ve already heard about the European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft and Philae lander, a.k.a. “the probe scientists landed on a comet.” Calling it “an incredible achievement” would be an understatement. So strike a victory for metal fans fighting the stereotype that all headbangers are idiots: Dr. Matt Taylor, a forty-year-old British scientist who is one of the leaders of the Rosetta mission, is a Cannibal Corpse fan!
