Thanks to a couple of volunteers pulling together to split fostering due to holiday travels, a wonderful groomer in the area who will board this boy over the weekend and provide his eye flushes until he can have his eye surgery Monday, a shelter who sought medical attention for this kitty instead of rushing to euthanize and reached out to rescue groups, We are able to committ to this sweet, injured boy and give him the medical attention he needs, his chance at being well, safe, and finding his forever family. It takes a VILLAGE. We cannot do this alone. My heart ached when I saw his pic and I knew he needed to get medical attention right away, but I knew our limitations and was convinced we werent going to be able to help. Phones and texts have been going nonstop to get all of the players lined up for this boy. Hes very lucky to have ended up where he did and that hes going to become part of the SSK family.
