Thanks to all my friends and family for the birthday wishes! On occasion, Ive warned a classroom full of students that theyll wake up one day and realize theyre, like, fifty years old, and that what immediately follows that realization (despair, joy, whatever) actually depends on what they are choosing to do, and whom they are choosing to do it with, each day between now and then. So it was sort of funny to me to wake up this morning, realize Im fifty years old, and think, Cool. Im good with that. Lets start the next set.
