Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes. I received the best birthday present of all yesterday, great lab results at my six-month kidney/pancreas transplant checkup. It feels like the very steep climb, especially in the first year, might be leveling out. So with fingers crossed and profound appreciation Im trying to enjoy every single moment I can focus on thriving and not just surviving. What a long, strange journey its been but Im glad to be here to experience more of lifes fun, adventures and challenges along with all of you.
