Thanks to the volunteers who joined BLM, the Idaho Trails Association and REI last weekend to participate in National Public Lands Day in the Owyhee Canyonlands Wilderness. About 50 volunteers completed maintenance work on Shoofly Trail, a 7-mile hiking trail in the Little Jacks Creek Wilderness and removed wire fencing to improve wildlife habitat and wilderness characteristics. Kids even had the chance to participate in a homestead adventure quest course and nature scavenger hunt. #Volunteer #NPLD #Wilderness50
