Thanksgiving is coming up. And yes I know its cliché to list some of the things and people Im grateful for, but Ive never done it,so I think that its time I did. BTW its also very cliche to say that something is so cliché... J/S Anyway. My kids health and happiness. The fact that they try to understand I am not trying to make their lives harder ,just ,better, but its a work in progress. Im thankful for that too. Progress, that is. It took me years to weave this tangled web but I am slowly but surely unravelling the mess. Friends the real ones that I can not speak to for months but we know if the other is in need we will do everything possible to assuage the other. If you have even one friend that you can call on and actually trust you are truly blessed. My mama being happy I can not stand her husband and she and Ive had major issues this year but I think overall she is happy and I am happy she has that she is not a bad person no matter how mad I get I hope she knows that I do know that. Clarity. Kinda strange I guess but its pretty major for me. Ive always looked at the world as a pessimist. Whatever could go wrong would so prepare for the worst and if something good happens prepare even more cause its gonna be even worse when it finally crashes down. Thats kinda stupid or hell really stupid. If everything goes wrong Im right. But whats the point of being right? even Im not that obsessed with saying I told you so. Good or bad I have to be ready to see it for what it is,deal with it, and move on dwelling on a miserable day just allows misery to take that much more from me. Reliving a good one every once in a while is nice but can make me completely unprepared for a bad one. I said clarity not stupidity.
