Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I therefore try to represent and be as positive and happy with my beautiful life every day of the year. On this day, however, it always gets me thinking about how lucky I really am. I am thankful for an amazing, hilarious, sarcastic mother who taught me to always smile, not to judge others and to always be there for those you love. I am thankful that I grew up with the most present, involved father, whose love I never had to question for even a moment. That he showed me how to speak my mind, think things through and be confident in myself and what I have to offer to the world. Im thankful that I had two amazing men walk me down the aisle--one of them my Stepdad Eric, who has been in my life since I was four years old and loves me as his own daughter. I am thankful for my friendships, which are more like family, where I can be my weird, impractical self and they can be themselves. That we allow one another to grow and change, always settling back into the friendship with new stories and points of view. Im thankful for inlaws who have always treated me as one of their own and had faith in our relationship, and the little brother I never thought I would get to have. When I think of all the family who filled the seats at our wedding (over 80) I am in awe at all that love. And lastly, I am thankful that my crazy 16 year old self had the insight to take the chance on a quiet boy, who would grow into the most confident, beautiful man and make me the happiest wife in the world. When I look at my life, I feel truly blessed and happy for exactly where it has landed me. Happy Thanksgiving everyone~
