That attachment theory would be fought and suppressed by a feminist agenda angers me. Objective science should reveal truth that is not pressed down because of any political agenda! Im frankly appalled by this. The data is there and society should deal with the truth, regardless. This would explain why the f---, the University of KY Psych Department wasnt making much of a big deal about this in the 90s. Im not against feminism. Its a worthy and necessary voice, but objectivity is the key to approaching ALL science. They tried to throw the baby out with the bath water. ALL mothers should be privy to the studies of Mary Ainsworth, Sroufe, etc. If we only deeply realized how powerful those early years are in the lives of our children!
