That day will come when off we fly it could happen at any time. So, let me describe our imminent departure within this fun-filled little rhyme. Jesus Christ will snatch His believer’s up from off this sinful earth. Stealing us away and into Glory to experience His kingdom, in all it’s worth. We will hear the trumpet call of God like a thunderbolt shattering aloud. Screamin demons will flee in fright as we burst up through the clouds. Our long-lost loved ones will be waiting as we meet them in the air. Instantaneously we gather, never-ending fellowship well now share. Behold, the Lamb of God arms help open wide. We meet our Blessed Hope face to face as He calls us to His side. Clothed in majesty, arrayed in splendor His light outshines the sun. With harmonious hearts rejoicing in perfect unity - we become as one. The Age of Grace gave it’s final call yet this is our Happy Hour. With our Lord of glory at the helm we soar with a surging rush of power. We’ll go shooting through the stars way beyond the speed of light. The glorious Bride of Christ with our resurrected bodies burning bright. Immeasurable sensation of warp speed elevation as we tear up through the skies. We receive a marvelous tour of Christs creation, while His radiance is reflected in our eyes. Skipping across quasars and comets, hyperblazing past the sun. Galaxy after galaxy we make our valiant run. As we near our destination we see the gates of Heaven open wide. The table set, the feast is ready as the Bride is led inside. We bask within the glow of the Fathers illuminating love. We finally made it to the Land of the Living to the place long-prepared for us above. Now we revel and partake in the abundant Homeland of our King. Oops, I gotta go now….. the angels are inviting us to sing. Well were ridin, ridin on the celestial winds. Hallelujah, we are ridin in cosmic style, ridin’ with the King of Kings!!! Riding the heights, straight on into Gloryville with our Bridegroom and Everlasting King!! ~Jeff Robb (Written 3-15-14)
